About me
Change your body. Change your mind. Open your heart. Create a new life.
If you feel like you’ve searched for answers — through doctors, injections, therapy, and countless treatments — and still haven’t found relief or been able to return to a full, active life…
There is another way.  As a chronic pain specialist, I have treated all the typical diagnosis and a lot of folks who have complex pain, injury and trauma.Â
It is common for people living with chronic pain to also have experienced trauma. Trauma is energy stored in the tissues, in the nervous system and in our memories. We can identify where the trauma is stored in the body and release that energy. Then we can use neuroscience to change the mind.
My method addresses both the mind and the body and is tailored for you.Â

Research & Science Behind This Approach I am deeply committed to using not only my 20 plus years of clinical experience, but also the latest neuroscience and mind-body research to guide treatment.
Pain Science: Reconceptualizing pain as a product of neuroplastic brain activity rather than damaged tissue reduced pain 3Ă— more than placebo and 6Ă— more than standard care. (Ashar, YK et al. Effect of pain reprocessing therapy vs placebo and usual care for patients with chronic back pain: a RCT. JAMA Psychiatry 79, 13-23 (2022).
Movement: Physical Activity is highly beneficial for improving symptoms of depression, anxiety and distress and should be a mainstay approach for people with chronic disease and diagnosed mental health disorders. Br J Sports Med 2023 Sep;57(18):1203-1209.
Movement: This review found evidence that Pilates, McKenzie therapy and functional restoration were more effective for reducing pain intensity. J Physiother 2021 Oct;67(4):252-262, Some types of exercise are more effective than others in people with chronic low back pain: a network meta-analysis.
Hypnosis: Hypnosis treatment is able to relieve chronic neuropathic and musculoskeletal pain, 8 hypnosis sessions provided significant pain relief. Hypnosis to manage musculoskeletal and neuropathic chronic pain: A systematic review and meta-analysis. Neuroscience Biobehav Rev 2022 Apr:135:104591. Hypnosis to manage musculoskeletal and neuropathic chronic pain: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Meditation: A recent peer-reviewed study published in Nature Communications Biology, titled: “Common neural and molecular changes during a mind-body reconceptualization, meditation, and open-label placebo healing intervention”, (Alex Jinich-Diamant et al. 8, 1525 (11/5/2025), showed the potential for mind-body interventions for reduced pain and enhanced neuroplasticity. This research was done by UC San Diego, during a 7 day retreat with Dr. Joe Dispenza combining lectures, meditation and healing rituals.
